Planning beyond printed Power
The October 16 announcement introduces Ancestral Reserve and Banner of Ascension. One uses the Bank to support and strengthen abilities; the other carries Legacies through evolution. Both invite players to examine action sequences rather than printed Power alone.
Locking is not consuming
The announced rules distinguish consuming, which removes Essences from the game, from locking a quantity in the Bank until the next turn. Locking does not select a specific card. This affects resources available for later abilities without removing evolution requirements.
An exchange is not an extra draw
Gili, Reader of Traces exchanges an available Bank Essence with a same-Stage card from the hand. One leaves and one enters, so hand size does not increase. The announcement also allows awakening with its requirement reduced by two, to a minimum of zero, while preserving consumption, previous-Stage requirements and the turn’s awakening allowance.
Preserving a Legacy
In Banner of Ascension, Legacy and Attach cards can remain attached after replacement. Royal Guard Apprentice can be consumed to prevent combat or execution destruction. Choosing when to spend that protection is not the same as assuming permanent invulnerability.
Conditions must coexist
Formation requires Stage I, II and III characters simultaneously. Evolving every character to the highest Stage could remove that condition. This is an interpretation of the announced rules, not competitive testing. SkyWorld and Keep Them All share the same creator; this report uses the official announcement.
