Moving beyond preset decks

SkyWorld players can now explore combinations beyond the game’s preset decks. An announcement published on September 25 introduced the Deck Builder, an editor for assembling, saving and sharing lists. It gives players control over which cards will accompany their Hero.

The rules behind each list

According to the official announcement, a deck contains 50 Characters plus one additional Hero. Players can include no more than four copies of any Character, and every card must belong to the same Insignia: Wishwood or Crown. The first card added, whether a Hero or Character, determines that Insignia.

A useful calculation before picking cards

The four-copy limit gives players a starting point: a complete deck needs at least 13 different Characters. Twelve choices with four copies each make 48 cards; two copies of a thirteenth Character bring the total to 50. The Hero is separate. This counting example was worked out by Collecting Central; the actual card choices must still fit the Insignia and the intended strategy.

Saving an idea before it is complete

The editor allows unfinished drafts and stores up to ten personal decks. Players comparing different options can pause a build and return to it later. Search covers card names and abilities, while filters narrow the pool by characteristics such as Essences, stage and type.

Using a code to discuss the same deck

Lists are shared through codes. Importing another player’s code creates an independent copy that can be changed. That makes it possible to discuss and adjust a common starting point without editing the creator’s saved version.

What to check when trying it

Along with the card count, the editor displays information about Essence requirements and consumption and flags incomplete lists. Those details help players examine a build; they do not, on their own, establish how strong it will be in a match. This story draws on SkyWorld’s announcement and does not include independent performance testing.

Where to find it

The announced path is Hub → Decks → My decks. Preset decks remain available as a starting point. Players should check the current rules and the editor’s notices while putting together a list.
